ATTENTION: SKATERS, BLADERS and BMX RIDERS
We are excited to offer this brand new program to the youth of Plainfield. We are forming a Skate Park Club that will meet twice / month. We will take one trip per month to various skate parks in the area and other related sites. Anyone can join this club and the members themselves with supervision and oversight given by the Park District will decide the exact format. This is an amazing opportunity to get involved and have a voice in the community. We expect a large number of participants and are looking forward to getting started. Call Dave Richert at 439-7943 for details as they are made available.

TEEN DROP-IN PROGRAM
River Edge Recreation Center is open Tuesday through Friday nights from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. for teens to come and enjoy our facility. There is no charge to come to River Edge and we have two pool tables, two PSII video systems with DVD capabilities. A large screen T.V. with VCR and many games available. One Friday every month we have a Movie and Fun night at River Edge that goes from 7 to 10 p.m. and costs for residents and .50 for non-residents to enter. During nice weather we also have many outdoor activities available on 19 acres of beautiful land. Park District staff is always on hand to supervise the teen drop-in program. It is a safe and fun alternative for the teens of Plainfield Township.

TEEN CENTER

17844 W. Frontage Road (near 55 and Caton Farm Road). Area teens are free to drop in anytime - Tuesdays thru Fridays between 4 and 8 p.m. There is a room set aside with 2 pool tables (free), board games and even a big screen TV and PS2! The facility is located on 17 acres of land, so in the summer there is some promise of Volleyball games! The whole thing is run by Dave Richert, the Park's Teen Coordinator.
